Sorry I wasn't around yesterday to post my weekly weigh in. Had a very busy day. Went to Zumba in the morning. Went shopping pretty much of all day looking for a pair of tennis shoes for my Zumba class. So far, I haven't found one that I like. I'm hoping to go on Monday after my Balls N Bands class to Tanger Outlet to find a pair of shoes! Anyways, I also went to Walmart to get a few things and Avenue to see if I could find a Valentine's shirt but they didn't have anything. :( I did get a new shirt. Got it on sale. I didn't try it on. Just bought it. It is a size that I usually wear which is a 30/32 but some of those 30/32 are pretty tight cuz I do have big chest. So I'm hoping the shirt fits. Even if it doesn't, I should be able to wear it eventually. :) Anyways, after we got home, mom and I got sucked in watching The Green Mile. I had seen it before but didn't remember a whole lot of it. Next thing ya know, it was getting late. Had to put my son to bed after the movie was done. All in all, it was a good day cuz I almost got in 10,000 steps! Wow! I couldn't believe it. I just need to keep that up. Most of the time, I get in about 5,000 steps a day. I've been wanting to get 10,000 steps a day to especially help with my weight loss.
So yesterday was my weigh in and I weighed in at 322.4lbs which was a 4.4lbs loss from last Friday and a total of 19.8lbs loss since I started Medifast. I was so hoping to lose 20lbs but at least I was soo close to it. *smiles* The best part of the week was being able to get on the balance board for the Wii Fit Plus! I now can play on it with my son! I've waited forever to be able to use it and now I can. Been using it every day since Thursday. :)
I'm looking forward to going over my brother's house tomorrow for the Super Bowl cuz I haven't seen my family (my brother and his family, my grandparents and my uncle) since I lost my weight. They're gonna be so surprised cuz they know I had been trying forever to lose this weight and I hadn't been successful. Now I just gotta keep going. I'm now aiming to be down to 300lbs by March 12th which is my birthday. Even if I don't exactly make it, I want to be very close to weighing 300. :) Is it possible? Can this happen? It would be so awesome! 22lbs in 5 weeks? Is that a lot to ask or even wish for? I want to push myself but am being told by a few people that I shouldn't. My doctor already ok'd it saying I can exercise for up to an hour AND can walk for an hour if I felt up to it. She said to just listen to my body and do what I want to do. This past week, I didn't go to 2 of my exercise classes cuz I was sick. Yesterday was my first day back to exercising so you could say I did listen to my body. I felt great and had a blast in Zumba.
Well, I'm gonna go for now cuz I would like to relax for a couple of hours. My mom took my son out to Church Brew Works. My father and brother are playing music there and it's my brother's birthday. I know I should've went but I didn't really want to go cuz of the food choices they have there would've been too hard for me to choose. I like making my own food. *smiles* Besides, I'll see him tomorrow. So take care and have a great weekend! Hugz

Week #3 Done
I can't believe that 3 weeks has already gone by! I changed my order for the next month to try different food. I would like to try the pretzel and the puffs. It's already on their way. *smiles* So I weighed in today and was at 326.8lbs. This means I lost 2.2lbs from last week and the total is 15.4lbs lost so far! I was so hoping to get to 325lbs but I guess I'll have to wait til next time. Right now I feel like 325 is taunting me..telling me I won't pass it to go under 325lbs. It has been a long time since I was under 325. I'm quite anxious to get under it because it will mean I've finally broke that barrier of 325 to 350lbs. It also means I will get to play on the Wii Fit with my son. I'm especially looking forward to doing the Hula Hoops on there!

Exercise Videos
Today I got a new exercise video in the mail. It's called Debby Mack's Fitness 101. I will be trying it out tomorrow. It's a plus size workout video. Once I've tried it out, I will be sure to let y'all know what I think of it. *smiles*
Starting yesterday, I've decided to add my exercise videos with my workouts. My workouts so far had been Balls N Bands (Monday & Wednesday) and Zumba (Friday). Now my videos that I'm adding to my workouts are The Biggest Loser Power Walk, Cardio Max and Power Sculpt. Yesterday I did the Power Walk and Cardio Max. It felt great. I loved them! Today I was planning to do Power Walk and Power Sculpt but because I was hurting from volunteering at the library in the morning, I decided to do just the Power Walk. I didn't want to hurt real bad for the pack meeting tonight. I should've just did the Power Sculpt cuz I was hurting anyways. Oh well. That's ok.
Tomorrow, I have Balls N Band class. If things work out as I'm babysitting tomorrow, I'm hoping to get in my Power Walk and Power Sculpt. We'll soon find out when tomorrow comes. Things never seem to go my way.

I will go nuts once I pass that 325lb line. *smiles*

Week #2 Done
I'm so excited that I've completed week 2 of Medifast. I've been making sure I get my water in by carrying 4 bottles of water which holds 16.9oz (little over 2 cups). I can't remember if I've mentioned miracle noodles. It's a great addition to the Medifast. I tend to eat them twice a week cuz they're easy to make and I always run out of veggies cuz I'm too busy to get to the store. So it's nice having the noodles around. So I weighed in today and weighed 329lbs! So far, I've lost a total of 13.2lbs. So excited! The best part is even though I have knee pains today, I'm walking much better especially on the steps. I'm so looking forward to walking again. Starting February, I'm planning to start walking 20 mins a day til I'm comfy then will add more time. I want to be able to do various walks such as 5K. Ok, I better get to bed. So good night all!

Week #1 Done
Whoo! Week #1 on Medifast is done! My goodness. I wasn't sure if I was gonna survive. I'm not talking bout the food or the fact I have to eat under 1000 calories a day (I've done this before cuz a lot of time I have no appetite). I'm talking the fact that I have had a few migraines and pretty much yelled at my family cuz of the migraines. Also the cramps in my leg and ankle I had one day earlier this week was so painful that I was still feeling the pain til yesterday. Holy crap! I hope to never experience that pain again. I may be used to the migraines but I don't like to yell at my family especially my son. Ok, enough about that. I'm sure y'all are anxious to know how much weight I have lost this week. Well, here we go! I've lost 8lbs! Only 2lbs away from 10lbs lost. Yaay! This means I am now at 334.2lbs. I'm so looking forward to being under 325lbs so I can finally play on the Wii Fit Plus with my son. I'm hoping in 2 to 3 weeks, I will be able to. Yaay! I'm even looking forward to my birthday this year which is in March. I'm hoping my friends will notice that I've lost weight cuz I haven't told them unless my mom did. I'm already trying to figure out how I'm gonna eat my Medifast meals and my lean and green meal while I'm out there (Indiana, PA). I know it's a long way off but I gotta figure it all out! I want to be able to have something to eat with my friends cuz I'm not sure if I'll eat a piece of cake or rather a cookie like we did last year. Will have to wait and see. Any suggestions??

Another First Today
Today is not only my first day on Medifast. It's also my first day of Zumba. In the fall, while I was waiting for my exercise class to start, I would watch the Zumba class. Every time I saw them, I thought to myself it looks so much fun and wouldn't mind doing that class. Well, when it was time to sign up again, I decided to try Zumba along with doing 2 classes of Balls N Bands (a class that doesn't use free weights). I wanted to do classes 3 times a week to help with my weight loss journey. At the time, I didn't realize I wasn't supposed to exercise when first starting on Medifast but then I found out, if I had been exercising and do it at a low intensity, I can take the classes. I was so excited cuz I had been looking forward to Zumba. I had the class this morning from 9 to 10am. Wow! What a workout and so much fun! Though I wasn't able to do everything they did but keep in mind, I am over 300lbs after all plus I had to do it with low intensity. I am looking forward to Zumba next week. If any of you guys had been thinking about trying Zumba but didn't want to cuz of your weight, trust me! If I can do it, y'all can do it. You don't have to keep up with the instructor or even the people in the class. The instructor was so excited that I decided to give Zumba a chance and told me to do it at my own pace so I wouldn't hurt myself. That's exactly what I did. Instead of jumping around, I did steps or walked. As long as you're moving, that's all that matters. Don't give up after one class just cuz you feel you can't do it. It will take a few classes to catch up to what they're doing. That's what the instructor told me. It'll prolly take me longer than a few times to figure out some of the moves and to actually catch up. We'll see as we go along. *smiles* Have a great day!
First Day of Medifast
As stated earlier this week, I was planning to start on January 7th. Well, that day is here. Can you believe it?? I'm kinda nervous but yet excited! I've heard many different stories about this products. I'm hoping Medifast is what will finally get me down to where I want to be. I want to weigh 149lbs so this is, of course, my goal weight. Hopefully you'll hear all about my success but I'm sure once in awhile, you'll hear of my failure or should I say my setback. When I have a setback, that's when I'm gonna need you. I'm gonna need your support and your friendship. This year is gonna be my year! 2011 is gonna be the year I finally get what I want.
Ok, here we go! I weighed in at 342.2lbs. Yep, this means I have gained since before New Years. But that's ok. I will get back to where I was and lose even more...way more. *smiles* Here's my first pic which, of course, will be my before pic.
I know y'all can't really tell how big I am but trust me, I am huge! I'm 5'5'' tall and have been morbidly obese most of my life. Over 300 lbs since high school. I want to get back under 300 lbs like I did after I had my son. Once I reach that weight, I know I'm gonna feel so much better but I'm gonna feel even better weighing under 200lbs.
I would love for all you who are following my journey to share your experience of weight loss and even share tips or recipes especially if you're on a Medifast journey like me. Thank you all for your love and support that you've given me either on Facebook or on Twitter.
